Vespers for the Dead
Vespers is the ancient evening prayer of the Roman Catholic church, which is part of the Liturgy of the Hours (also known as the Divine Office). Similar to Choral Evensong, this liturgy consists of singing or chanting psalms, hymns, and canticles, with antiphons and doxologies.
The chamber choir will present some of these elements in a choral format along with several motets by composers such as John Tavener, Guillaume Bouzignac, and Orlando di Lassus.

Mass for the Dead
The month of November is customarily the time of year when the Church remembers the dead. To start off this month of remembrance, the Psalterium Institute and Prince of Peace Parish are collaborating to offer a sung Mass for the Dead featuring beautiful choral music, selections of Gregorian Chant, and time for prayer and silence. Please consider joining in prayer for all your deceased loved ones, and for our community as it grieves.
Compline by Candlelight
Compline is the ancient night prayer of the church. Join the Chamber Choir and Boy for beautiful choral music and gorgeous renditions of the Church’s prayer for the ending of the day.
